Cartes welcomes donations within the framework of the “Abrazo solidario” program

ASSUMPTION. The president of the Government Board of the Colorado Party, Horacio Cartes, visited the place where donations are received within the framework of the “Abrazo Solidario” campaign. He valued the efforts of the work team led by Dr. María Teresa Peralta, campaign coordinator and Lic. Mariano Mercado, director of Communications of the ANR and director of ANR Online Radio.

Cartes highlighted the great solidarity not only of the Colorados but of businessmen and other volunteers who brought their donations to the ANR Radio location consisting of blankets, mattresses, clothes, shoes and coats.

So far they have collected a total of 439 blankets, 284 blankets, 50 bags of clothing for children and adults, 110 mattresses, as well as shoes and several other coats that will be very useful for people in need and with these donations they will be able to protect themselves from the cold in this season of low temperatures.

The “Abrazo Solidario” campaign is initially scheduled until the 15th of this month, but considering that there are so many families who need mattresses, coats or shoes, this campaign will continue.
