The ‘monster’ of the fifth Vergara surrendered for the fifth time before the talent and energy of Carlos Vives, who, with his voice, bagpipes and drums, managed to win the Gold and Silver Gaviota at the Viña del Mar 2025 Festival, held in Chile.
One of the most shared moments on social networks during the Samario show was when he played the bicycle live, a song in collaboration with Shakira, who, in turn, included it in the repertoire of his first concert of the world tour LMYNL in Bogotá.

After seven years since his last presentation, Carlos Vives faced for fifth occasion to the demanding public of the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar that takes place every year in Chile. There the artist was in charge of opening the fourth night with the best of his repertoire in which he included both themes of his new record work and some of his most remembered classics, among them, the bicycle sounded again, I was born again, Pa ‘Mayte and the cold drop.

In addition, during his presentation at the Viña del Mar Festival, Vives was surprised by the former captain of the Chilean football team Claudio Bravo, who gave him one of his football shirts.

The new date that the festival added will be exclusively for Colombia, since the main artists will be Morat who will open the night that will have a comedy intermediate as a prelude to the closure that will be borne by Sebastián Yatra.

The members of the Latin Pop Rock Group also lamented the blackout that left the entire South American country without electricity and clarified that they were arranged until the last minute to fulfill their appointment, as they do whenever they have a commitment to their fans.
“It makes us very sad not to be able to get on stage tonight, but we understand that everyone’s security and well -being should always be the priority. Thank you for being there and for the unconditional support that they always show us. We hope that as many as we can accompany us on Saturday, but we know that it can be complicated for many people.
