Security cameras captured the moment when a gang of criminals carried out a vehicle theft in broad daylight. The event occurred specifically at 26 0-09 street in zone 1 of the city, where crime seems to have reached high levels.
The video, which has spread quickly through social networks, shows the scene in which at least three individuals, one of them on a motorcycle, stealthily approach the owner of a red truck. In the images, it is clearly seen that the owner is busy cleaning or checking his vehicle, with the doors open and the hood raised.
Without warning, the criminals burst onto the scene and, with firearms in hand, threaten to kill the owner, demanding the keys to the car. While one of the criminals focuses on the owner, another goes towards a person who is in the back seats of the truck, ordering him to get out of the vehicle also under threats.
The situation becomes even more alarming when the criminals demand the owner of the truck to close the doors and lower the hood of the vehicle, while one of them gets into the car and begins to flee. Later, another subject appears on a motorcycle to take away the remaining accomplice, thus completing the modus operandi of this car theft gang.

They demand security in zone 1
The dissemination of this video has unleashed a wave of indignation among social media users, who demand urgent measures to guarantee security on the streets of the capital.
“It would be important for the Ministry of the Interior to take measures in areas such as zone 1, especially in places such as the bars on 9th Avenue between 18th and 16th Street, Concordia Park, and around the Library and Plaza de la Constitución. . Actions are needed to improve security in these areas”, “They could have disconnected something to prevent it from turning on, he shouted to his friend, ran and they left, but that is what one thinks in cold blood and from behind a screen” , “The worst thing is that the police know where they are going to dismantle those cars and they do nothing,” say some of the comments on social networks.
