[노트펫] American media KSL reported on the 3rd (local time) that a “hawk”, a bird of prey, attempted to kidnap a “kitten” from a car but failed due to the “window”.
According to media reports, Mr. A, a cat owner, recently suffered a heart attack in a parking lot in Los Angeles, USA. Because a big hawk tried to kidnap his kitten. At the time, Mr A and his cat were both in the car.

The hawk is believed to have caught the cat through a car window. In the video posted by Mr A last month, a sharp-billed hawk flies quickly towards Mr A’s car. The hawk that landed on the bonnet continued to threaten the kitten, but the hunt failed repeatedly because the window glass blocked his path. It seems that the clear glass window was not recognized.
Mr A recalled: “I was drinking coffee in the car park, and then this hawk appeared and kept trying to kidnap my kitten.”
In the avian food chain, hawks are known as the top predators, hunting mice and small animals. The situation was such that Mr A’s kitten could easily have become food for a hawk. However, since it was impossible to pierce the window, not a single hair of the cat could be touched. The cat wasn’t too scared and calmly leaned towards the handle.
Netizens who watched the video responded: “The hawk looks genuinely confused,” “It’s amazing how calm the kitten is and doesn’t scream,” and “That hawk must have wanted to see blood.”
Mr A, who was holding the cat safely in his arms, said: “The bird that attacked the cat was a ‘red-tailed hawk'” and urged: “Pets should not be left unattended by Nowhere”.
