Cao Phu Quy won the Gold Medal at Yoshine Music Festival 2024

Recently, at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, 12-year-old Cao Phu Quy conquered the judges and audience with his powerful voice and wonderful performance style, thereby winning the Gold Medal at the Yoshine Music Festival 2024.

The judges of this year’s competition are Dr. People’s Artist Quoc Hung – Deputy Director in charge of the Vietnam National Academy of Music; Meritorious Artist Pham Ha Thang Long – Lecturer of the Vocal Music Department, Military University of Culture and Arts; Dr. Nguyen Khanh Ly – Lecturer of the Vocal Music Department, Vietnam National Academy of Music.

After 3 rounds of competition nationwide, surpassing many candidates, Cao Phu Quy excellently won the Gold Medal.

Bringing to the contest the song “Rung Khoc”, a new composition by musician Nam Cuong, which is also the song in his first MV product, contestant Cao Phu Quy performed the song with a powerful voice combined with a confident performance style that convinced the judges as well as the love and encouragement from the audience.

Through the competition, it shows that the young generation of Vietnam today is very talented and has been nurtured and trained by their parents since they were very young. They have become truly confident and have shown their talents very well and have gradually approached larger competitions at home and abroad.
