Francisco Javier Cabeza de Vaca, PAN candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, accused the National Electoral Institute (INE) of discarding his aspirations on the instructions of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“Today (Tuesday), the INE is going to set a precedent; define whether the candidacies are approved in accordance with the rights that citizens have to vote and be voted for or in accordance with what the President authoritatively orders from the National Palace. Our Democracy and freedoms are at stake,” he explained on his social networks.

For its part, in a statement the PAN stated that on April 25, a federal judge issued a definitive suspension that determines a new legal status for our colleague Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, who is in full exercise of his rights. to vote and be voted.

“This resolution of the amparo trial changes the situation in which he was located when the determination of the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation occurred, making him meet the necessary conditions to be nominated as a candidate for federal deputy.

“The federal government and Morena seek to generate confusion. There is evidence that our candidate has been exonerated in three instances for crimes that have been attributed to him in a frank political persecution, and to that extent he has appeared in the investigation files and exercised his right of defense,” he said.
