Incredible images come in from Canada of a burning train passing through downtown London in Ontario.

The commercial train, under unclear circumstances, burst into flames while passing through a residential area.

Firefighters fought hard to contain the flames, as there were wagons containing dangerous materials. After an hour and a half, the fire was extinguished with no injuries.

“The incident is being investigated. We thank the City of London Authorities for their effective intervention in the fire,” said the representative of the company, which owns the train.

For his part, the railway counsel said it was unlikely that sparks generated by the wheels caused the fire.
