CAN U17 qualification: Madagascar in group B alongside Zambia, Malawi and South Africa

The draw of Cosafa U17 Youth Championship, a qualifying tournament for the African Cup of Nations under 17 (CAN U17) 2025, was held yesterday in South Africa. This competition, reserved for selections of the southern Africa zone, will take place from September 11 to 20, 2025 in Harare, Zimbabwe, on the lawns of the Ngoni Stadium of Norton and the Heart Stadium of Waterfalls. The Malagasy U17 selection is evolving in group B, alongside Zambia, South Africa and Malawi. In total, twelve nations will be in the running, divided into three groups. At the end of the group phase, the two best teams of each pool as well as the two best thirds access the final stages. Two qualifying places for the CAN U17 2025 will be allocated at the end of the tournament. Cosafa U17 Youth Championship is a major meeting for young talents in the region, offering a continental competition and detection platform.
