The stage that has hosted big names in North American hip hop culture such as “Eminem”, “Busta Rhymes”, “Kanye West”, “Pusha-T”, “Big Sean”, “Cyhi Da Prince”, “50 Cent” among other stars, it welcomes on the 28th of this month, for the first time, the Angolan artist Cage One.
In eight minutes, Sérgio Alexandre Jota Manuel will demonstrate his talent at the most important Hip Hop awards in the world, Bet Hip hop Awards 2020, in the “Hip Hop Cyphers” section, alongside Elisabeth Ventura, an Angolan singer. Thus becoming inscribed in history as the first Angolan to step onto the stage where great relics of America have passed.
Cage One who started as a dancer in the rap group SSP, where he would develop a good affinity with the musician and businessman Big Nelo, (B26), with whom he sang and to this day maintains a strong friendship, having also previously worked for the group Warrant B .
Remember that in the B26 era, Cage shared the spotlight of fame with JD and singer Edmasia, who released the hit “Se Deus é Por Nós”.
His repertoire includes albums such as: Angola Dream Boy (2008); Angola Young Hero (2011), Angola Most Wanted (2013) and lastly Mais Que Um Rapper, released at the end of last year.
