The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bouraita, held on Monday in New York, a series of separate talks, on the sidelines of the eighties of the United Nations General Assembly.
Thus, Burita discussed with the African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Pancole Adeway.
The Minister also held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti, Abdelkader Hussein Omar, and a meeting with his Icelandic counterpart, Thorgirdor Catherine Gunsdottter.
He also met the Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and she discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Sarah Pisolo Niante.
During these discussions, the two sides touched on bilateral ties and cooperation relations in many fields, and ways to advance them were discussed more.
These meetings were also an occasion to discuss a number of issues of common concern at the regional and international levels, as well as coordinating positions within international bodies.
