Budapest’s Chez Dodo macaron manufactory has been ranked among the world’s best confectioneries – Articles

The Sas utca patisserie celebrates its 10th birthday this year, and in addition to Budapest, we can already find their desserts in Vienna.

A Forbes poked out that downtown Chez Dodo macaronmanufactory mentioned among the best pastry shops in the world by the French gastro-recommendation site, a The list.

The website and application founded by Philippe Faure recommends 20,000 restaurants, patisseries and other gastronomic places from all over the world, based on top lists, tests and reports from various other media. Now the best were awarded, a Dóri Szalai and Péter Váry Chez Dodo, founded by Pastry Discovery Gem were recognized with an award. The complete list can be read by clicking here.

Chez Dodo, which is already 10 years old this year, has long been one of the flagships of Budapest’s new-wave bakeries and pastry shops. They also recently expanded, Freyja – the croissant story, which opened a new store in Vienna, also sells macarons from Chez Dodo.
