In the UK, the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson, daughter of hereditary banker Rupert Henson and Caroline Hanson, Marchioness of Bristol, took place, Liter.kz reports.
Hugh Grosvenor is Britain’s most eligible bachelor. He is a descendant of Alexander Pushkin and the royal Romanov dynasty, a billionaire and close friend of Prince William, the owner of the most prestigious plots of land in London, and the godfather of Prince George.
The ceremony took place at Chester Cathedral in Cheshire in north-west England.

The 33-year-old Duke of Westminster, who is worth about $13 billion, and his fiancee Olivia Henson, 31, invited about 400 people to the celebration. After the traditional ceremony, the guests went to Eaton Hall, the Grosvenor earl’s home.
Roads had to be closed in Chester for a wedding. To alleviate the inconvenience for residents, the bride and groom sponsored the Summer Flowers project, in which 100 thousand flowers are planted throughout the city, and also paid for free ice cream on the wedding day for everyone.
The bride arrived at the ceremony in a vintage Bentley wearing a dress by London designer Emma Victoria Payne. The dress featured floral motifs from a veil once worn by her great-grandmother, which dates back to 1880. Underneath the veil, she wore the Faberge Myrtle Leaf Tiara, which was originally made for the Grosvenors in 1906 for the family’s brides to wear on their wedding day.

Grosvenor’s godfather is King Charles III himself.
Among the members of the British royal family, Prince William and Princess Eugenie arrived at the ceremony.
Hugh Grosvenor and Olivia Henson met in 2021 through mutual friends. In April 2023, the couple announced their engagement.
