The international expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology, Brian Roemmele, joined President Nayib Bukele’s team today, as part of a strategy to turn the country into a technological power in the region.

The specialist was presented as “the newest member of our team” by President Nayib Bukele on his official X account.

«It is a great honor and privilege to be the AI ​​advisor to President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador. The objective is to lay the foundations for the rational use of machine learning on artificial intelligence and promote local and international business and education in this field, ”said the expert in his X account.

The Government of El Salvador confirmed that Roemmele is a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence and a leading expert in technology, music and digital wallets, as well as an advisor to investment giants on AI trends.

The announcement also impacted the country’s Bitcoin community. Bitcoiner Stacy Herbert declared herself “excited” that Brian Roemmele “is joining the team.”
