Brazilian actress Taís Araújo made a special and emotional request to her divorced parents to return to live together, in order to follow the recommendations due to Covid-19.
The actress’s parents, who have been divorced for a long period of time, lived in separate houses and alone. Hence Taís’ concern in asking her mother to welcome her ex-husband (the actress’s father) into her home while social isolation continues in Brazil.
Speaking to Quem magazine, Taís Araújo highlighted that despite being separated, the parents get along very well, and that she was desperate, calling one and the other.
“I asked: mom let dad stay there, I’m very worried about him alone. Now the two of them are together keeping each other company, it’s one less thing to worry about,” she said.
It should be noted that the actress’s parents are part of the risk group, they are both over 70 years old.
