OR MDB intends to keep the campaign for São Paulo City Hall within São Paulo’s borders. This is what the national president of the party, a federal deputy, says Whale Rossi (SP), said it very clearly in an interview with the newspaper The globe.
When asked about the alliance with the PL of Jair Bolsonaro – the former president himself is still reluctant to clearly express his support – Rossi said “this attempt to polarize or nationalize the countryside of São Paulo is not good for the city” and criticized Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP, photo, centre, traveling in China).
“Boulos tries to nationalize because he has nothing to show. Unlike Ricardo, who will talk about management. We respect the president”, added the MDB president, referring to Bolsonaro. PSOL and PT make no secret of their plan to turn the dispute into a repeat of the 2022 presidential campaign, with the narrative of democracy versus authoritarianism.
Rossi strengthened it “Municipal elections are the time to discuss municipal issues”.

In the interview the emedebist made clear his resentment towards Lula for the effort to remove him Marta Suplicy of the Nunes administration and put together a ticket with Boulos.
«Naturally this caused her discomfort because she had been in Ricardo’s government for three years.
