Benghazi, February 27, 2024 (Al-Anbaa Al-Libya) – Over the past few days, it has been circulating in the local sports street interested in club news that there are some fans demanding the dismissal of the coach of the Tunisian Al-Ahly Benghazi team, “Lasad Dridi,” who believe that the team’s results are unsatisfactory at the level of the first group.
This thought and demand came from some Al-Ahly club fans coinciding with the departure of Egyptian coach “Mustafa Marei” from the Al-Taawoun team, after the latter reached a mutual disengagement by mutual consent.
The official spokesman for Al-Ahly club, Salem Bouqrin, denied what was recently reported in the sports community regarding the dismissal of the Tunisian first team coach, “Lassaad Dridi,” from his coaching duties. This matter was not mentioned at all, and the board of directors did not think about dispensing with him.
Bouqrin added, in statements made exclusively to the Libyan News Agency, saying, “This issue is not completely on the table for discussion,” explaining that everyone’s goal is technical stability, and this is one of the reasons for providing positive results.
Salem expressed his deep regret for hearing such malicious rumours, and that there are some sayings that say that “Lasaad Dridi” will be dismissed after the match in the fourth round of the second leg in front of the ongoing challenge, but these sayings are baseless and baseless.
The official spokesman for Al-Ahly club confirmed, “Our clear goal is to remain and stabilize the coach, and he will continue until the end of the season, and our ambition with him is to win the Libyan League championship, especially since the team has a human resource that will put it on the podium.” (Benghazi – Libyan News) S.A.
