GERB leader Boyko Borisov commented on the sidelines of the parliament that no parliamentary party can form a government at the moment. He promised to take responsibility if there are 80 deputies in the next elections.
“No one can make it up. From what I’ve heard inside so far, no one can make it up. Right now we’re in an election campaign rally. Absolute irresponsibility! And here they are waiting to see who will blink first to do something for the country “Borisov said.
He stated that he was responsible for forming a working cabinet when GERB received more than 80 deputies in elections. “If our voters now, in the next elections, make maximum efforts and we get more than 80 deputies, I will take responsibility”Borisov added.
He repeated his thesis that for him now “the most normal and most stable is to have a government between the first, second and third political powers”. This means the cabinet of GERB – DPS – PP-DB. The third political force – “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” has already announced that it will be the opposition in the 50th parliament.
Boyko Borisov commented that he told the PP-DB – “we have to reformat the government, because your weight is already 68 to 22 and it is not logical that you with 22 deputies want all the power, plus regulators, plus services”.
The GERB leader called the formation of an expert government with the third mandate “nonsense”. Slavi Trifonov’s party “There is such a people” insists on this.
I warned that Bulgaria will enter into electoral spirals, there will be nothing stable, we will deviate from all roads, Borisov also said. He added that at the moment there are practically no institutions, no unified policy.
We can’t even make committees in the parliament, we can’t even accept one thing to work, added the GERB leader.
“No one wants to discuss the electoral system, because it is beneficial for everyone to have many small parties and only face accusations”complained Borisov.
The leader of GERB also commented that the lack of stable governance is distancing the country from the Eurozone.
“But what kind of Eurozone was it, gentlemen? We were there with GERB, in the waiting room, in the banking union. If now, today, we had a stable government dominated by us, the eurozone decision is political and we would have taken it, but at the moment we cannot even make a finance committee in the parliament. We will only listen now so that the pre-election campaign, which will not lead to anything later, can be pushed further”said Boyko Borisov.
