Kelly Rizzo, the widow of late actor Bob Saget, has responded to criticism she received after sharing that she is now dating actor Breckin Meyer. The 44-year-old actress was criticized for entering into a new relationship “too quickly” after her husband’s death. Saget, known to the general public as father Danny Tanner in the sitcom Full House, died in January 2022.

“Unless you are a widow or widower, you are absolutely in no position and have no right to comment on this because you don’t know what it’s like,” Rizzo said in a video on TikTok. “Then you just don’t understand the incredibly complex, difficult thoughts and feelings that come up during this whole process.”
“You also feel lonely,” Rizzo continues. “So you want a new relationship. Then you get support and love from your partner’s friends and family, and they tell you it’s okay, but you still feel really weird about it.”
Saget died after falling in a hotel room in Florida. Last month, Rizzo announced that he had found happiness with Meyer. Saget and Rizzo married in 2018, before which Saget was also married to Sherri Kramer for many years.
