Biodiversity Mural Workshop

The Biodiversity mural It is a workshop inspired by the Climate mural. Using playful elements, collective intelligence and actions, this workshop is structured around card games inspired by the work of the United Nations programme on biodiversity (IPBES) and has received validation from the French Office for Biodiversity.
Its aim is to raise awareness about the erosion of biodiversity, ecosystem services and the factors causing their degradation.
Workshop Development
The workshop lasts three hours and is divided into four parts:
- Ecosystemic appetizer (30 min)
Participants rebuild a balanced ecosystem and discover the consequences of various disturbances (4 appetizers illustrating the main causes of biodiversity loss).
- Biodiversity mural (1h15 min)
Organizing the cards in cause-consequence order to understand what enables and degrades biodiversity.
- Creative part (30 min)
Personalizing group work with a title and drawings, connecting cards with arrows and grouping by concepts.
- Debate (45 min)
Sharing emotions and seeking solutions to limit biodiversity loss and protect it.
