“Telling mothers what to do, I don’t believe that,” Bianca Longpré told her subscribers early Thursday morning. But sometimes… it’s clear that certain stories shock and make you think.

That’s Wednesday night, the comedian shared history on Instagram a short video of the youngest son eating grapes. However, the grapes were not cut.
A few hours later, Longpré received in a private message the moving testimony of a subscriber who lost her almost three-year-old son after choking on a whole grape.
“And I got this message. First and foremost, my mother’s heart is broken for this woman.”
You can read the thoughtful and heartbreaking message from the subscriber, whose anonymity is preserved.
“Well, I hope I haven’t upset you, but I’m broken forever because of a grape that didn’t pass…” concluded the grieving mother.
Bianca Longpré admits that this message reminded her that life is fragile and that nothing should be taken for granted.
“And in the end he told me to take precautions again that I had been a little bit discouraged about”. It’s okay to readjust as a parent, to realize you need to do better.
