Sylhet Strikers, Chow-Man Restaurant, and JCI Dhaka Premier launched a project to feed underprivileged people ‘Bhagre Khai’. In this exceptionally noble initiative, as many customers eat at Chow-Man restaurant, Chow-Man will feed the same number of underprivileged people the next day.
This means that against each customer’s meal, one underprivileged person will be fed by Chow-Man Restaurant.
Bangladesh National Cricket Team and Sylhet Strikers player Nazmul Hossain inaugurated the ‘Bhagre Khai’ project by feeding food into the mouths of Shant underprivileged children. Shanto also said, ‘I feel blessed to be with this initiative and I urge you to spread it among the people of all walks of life in Bangladesh.’
The initiative was inaugurated by the owners, management committee and players of Sylhet Strikers, owner of Chow-Man Restaurant, Mohammad Fakhr Uddin and Ashabus Safa, who attended the event.
JCI Dhaka Premier Local President Ashabus Safa, Local Executive Vice President Gazi Naeem Manzoor, Local Vice President Syed Ziaul Ahsan, Committee Chair Aiman Bin Nasim, Secretary General Gazi Shahriar Mridul and other general members were also present.
The promoters believe that through the ‘Bhagke Khai’ project, it will be possible to feed numerous helpless and underprivileged people throughout the year, which will bring about positive and sustainable change in the society.
