Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) and Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) will work together to increase the country’s garment exports. The leaders of the two organizations expressed such commitments at the Iftar and Dua Mahfil of the BGBA.
The Iftar was held on Saturday (March 22) at the Uttara Club in the capital with BGBA members and representatives of various business organizations.
The speakers said that the BGBA’s target of exporting $ 1 billion out of 20 billion clothing by 20. To implement it, the distance between BGMEA and BGBA must be reduced. BGMEA BGBA and BikMEA have to work shoulder to shoulder to shoulder for the country and businessmen.

Abul Kalam, managing director of Chaiti Group, said that the BGMEA and BGBA’s bonds should remain intact. The two organizations will not be able to run without each other. We have to work together in the interest of the businessmen for the benefit of the country.
JFK Sweater Managing Director Kafil Uddin said the garment owners and manufacturers were often affected by the buying houses. But after the Baying House Association is activated, we are confident of working with many buying houses. This confidence relationship has to be maintained.
Anant Jalil, Chairman of the AGI Group, said that the movements that are going on in the garment sector should be considered. Large companies are being damaged for a handful of people. The conspirators should be handed over to the law.
BGMEA President Mofazzal Hossain Pavel said the gap between BGBA and BGMEA should be removed for sustainable trade. We have to work simultaneously to ensure that our target is export of $ 1 billion by 20 years. The obstacles that are in the field of trade should be removed.
BGMEA Vice President AKM Saifur Rahman Farhad said, “We have to deal with the new challenges that will be created in the business.” Thousands of people have been employed in the buying houses sector, millions of families are dependent on this sector, keeping everyone in mind the proper environment of production must be ensured. In the case of garment export, the assistance of the concerned sectors, including the government, should be strengthened.
At one point of the program the BGBA car sticker was unveiled. Using the buying house traders will get benefits in various places including airports, government institutions.
