AREQUIPA, Peru – Although born in Miami in 1988, Jencarlos Canela is of Cuban origin, due to his parents and the roots with which he identifies. At 36 years old, he currently has great successes both in the world of music and in acting.

Canela referred to the deplorable state of Cuban hospitals that currently lack even the basics. In addition, he highlighted the persecution suffered by Cubans who act and think freely. “My parents had to leave Cuba because they had to, not because they wanted to.”
