Latvian laser Dāvis Bertāns will wait for his first appearance in 2024 in the ranks of the Oklahoma City “Thunder” in the battle against Kristaps Porzingis, the leading team of the Eastern Conference, the “Boston Celtics”.
Originally from Ruji thunder he participated in five of the team’s 13 games in December. Bertan’s season averages are the most modest of his NBA career, averaging 3.7 points.
The short playing time doesn’t necessarily mean a drop in accuracy from distance, as Bertāns is hitting threes this season with the best accuracy of his career – 42.9%.
Porzingis, the Celtics’ third offensive option, has settled in very well in the Massachusetts team. The player from Liepāja averages exactly 20 points per game.

The Western Conference runner-up Thunder will look to follow up their 23rd win of the season at 3 p.m. On the other hand Celts will aim for the 27th victory.
