Sinba, Lt. Col. Rashid Sikas, from the Casablanca Settat (employment of Berrechid), won today, Sunday, at the Al -Salam House in Rabat, the 24th session of the Hassan II Award for Traditional Equestrian Arts, “Taburida”, by drawing the Moroccan Championship for the adult category, organized in the period from May 26 to June 1.
Sarba, Lt. Col. Rashid Sikas, who was crowned the title last year, was able to preserve the title of this sporting demonstration, organized under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, ahead of Sacra, Lt. Col. Al-Mahdi Anjar, from the part of Marrakech-Safi (Marrakech workers), which won the silver medal.
The bronze medal returned to Sarba, Lt. Col. Dahman Hasnawi from the east (Employment and Jeddah Ankad).
In the youth category, Sarba, Lt. Col. Badr Zaraza, was crowned from the Casablanca-Settat (Madiniya employment) with the title, ahead of the Sarba of Beni Mellal- Khenifra (Beni Mellal Employment) by Lt. Col. Muhammad Gharbo, and the Sarba of Marrakesh- Safi (Al-Youssoufiah) by Lt. Col. Badr al-Din al-Khadi.
At the end of this prestigious competition, the President of the Royal Moroccan Equestrian University, Moulay Abdullah Al -Alawi, handed over prizes and medals to the winners in various categories, in the presence of the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mahdi Bensaid, and the head of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Faisal Al -Araishi.
In the first round of the adult category competitions, 18 Sarba participated, for four days, 10 of which qualified for the final rounds.
In the youth category (12-16 years), 7 sabotans participated, 5 of which qualified for the final stage.
The Moroccan champion of the adult category won a financial prize of 500 thousand dirhams, while the runner -up won 300 thousand dirhams, while the Sarba, which ranked third, won 200 thousand dirhams.
Serbs are dotted based on accurate criteria set by the rulers of the Royal Moroccan Equestrian University, and include the harmony of knights movements, the enemy rhythm, guns, the timing of bullets, traditional dress and irrigation.
Knights are also poured on the basis of coordination and communication, controlling the Persians, in addition to the general appearance of the knight and his horse.
