Bennani promises a good performance during the Marrakesh Championship

Moroccan car racing champion Mehdi Bennani, one of the best racers in the World Touring Car Championship, expressed his optimism about his ability to provide an outstanding performance during the new edition of this championship, which will be held at Moulay Hassan in Marrakesh on Friday and Saturday of this week.

The Moroccan champion highlighted, during a press conference organized at the Sofitel Hotel in Marrakesh, on Wednesday, that he will make every effort with his team in order to achieve an achievement that meets the hopes of the Moroccan public who loves this sport, after an absence of 4 years, because all conditions are available.

Bennani explained that this competition, in which he will participate with a new car, will be characterized by educating the technical side of the races he participates in, with the help of engineers, technicians and mechanics, in order to ensure good preparation for the races, because the competing cars are close together and the difference between them becomes apparent in a few minutes.

Champion Mehdi Bennani previously won the World Championship in Touring Car Racing in 2016, and also won the European Championship in the “TCR” competition in 2020.

Mehdi Bennani grew up in 1983, amid a sports family from which he inherited his passion for racing. His mother, Samira Bennani, is a Moroccan and Arab car racing champion, and his father, Abdelilah Bennani, was a former motorcycle champion.
