#Benin / Support in the fight against Endometriosis: The Supreme Court receptive to the actions of EndoEspoir

In the fight against endometriosis, the Supreme Court of Benin is now positioned alongside the GBEHUNU Foundation, the Parliamentary Women’s Caucus, the Network of Women Parliamentary Officials, the Rapha Clinic, Ifê Nutrion and Well-Being… for support the NGO EndoEspoir.

Indeed, in the constantly renewed efforts led by the NGO EndoEspoir, it requested and obtained the support of the Supreme Court. This is the conclusion we draw from the audience granted, on the afternoon of Friday March 29, the President of the Supreme Court, Victor ADOSSOU to the EndoEspoir delegation taken to his office by its President Innocentia ALLADAGBE.

By introducing the discussions, President Victor ADOSSOU indicated that he agreed to receive and listen to the NGO EndoEspoir because since he had a few scraps of information on endometriosis, he has not stayed insensitive to, “this pathology still unknown to the majority, but which does not fail to wreak havoc“.

In turn, the President of EndoEspoir Innocentia ALLADAGBE, its Communications Manager, James William GBAGUIDI, presented to the President of the Supreme Court the motivations which led to the creation of EndoEspoir, its objectives, the actions already carried out and those planned for the short and medium terms.

As for Doctor Lionel YETONGNON, member of the scientific team accompanying the NGO, he explained to President ADOSSOU and his colleagues present at the audience, the symptoms and manifestations of endometriosis, its numerous consequences and the rare methods and means used to relieve women victims of the pathology.

Very touched by the testimony of Innocentia ALLADAGBE, who experiences the physical and psychological pain of endometriosis on a daily basis, the President of the Supreme Court reassured the EndoEspoir delegation of his personal support and that of the Institution that he directs to support awareness-raising and fight against pathology actions.
