Sajedur Rahman, basic secretary of Benapole C&F Agent Workforce Affiliation stated, import-export can be closed for 4 consecutive days because of Durga Puja vacation thru Petrapole-Benapole port.
Benapole Port Deputy Director (Site visitors) Rashedul Sajib Nazir stated, because of the Durga Puja vacation, import and export between the 2 nations can be closed from October 9 to twelve, in step with Indian customs government and C&F brokers. Even if the import-export is closed, the loading-unloading and customs paintings will proceed on the port. Indian empty vehicles can go back after unloading shipment on the port. Hilsa exports will proceed. He stated that the import-export between the 2 nations will get started once more from the morning of October 13.
Benapole Checkpost Immigration Police Inspector (Investigation) Omar Farooq Majumder stated that because of the Puja vacations, the motion of passengers with Indian passports will proceed to be standard despite the fact that the transportation of products on the Benapole-Petrapole port can be stopped.
