The Red Star Association for Education, Culture and Social Development announced the holding of the 15th edition of the National Short Story Festival, with the support of the Collective Council of the city of Mashraa Belkasiri, after years of forced cessation due to various factors, starting from June 28, 2024 until the 30th.
This course will bear the name of the late storyteller “Malika Naguib.” A statement from the association explained that the session will feature story readings presented by storytellers and clippings from different parts of the Kingdom, interspersed with musical compositions by the artist Naji Asghiri, and two critical symposiums presented by Moroccan critics and professors, the first under the title: “The Nineties Story in Morocco – Extension and Addition,” and the second symposium entitled: “Malika.” Naguib and the short story.”
In parallel with the festival, Al-Hayata Group “Al-Sha’ara” is holding clips from local Gharbawi folklore, and an exhibition of paintings by visual artist Sarah Zafar Allah in the Fountain Foyer in the municipality of Mashraa Belkasiri.
