Belarus has expressed interest in working with Bangladesh in the development of processed food, agricultural machinery and human resources. The country has also expressed interest in expanding trade between the two countries in the near future.
On Sunday (March 10) in Motijheel of the capital, the senior vice-president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Md. Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Evgeny Shestakov expressed his interest in a courtesy meeting with Amin Helali.
During this time, bilateral trade and investment increase between Bangladesh and Belarus, human resource development, skill and technology exchange, and mutual cooperation issues were discussed between the two sides.

Belarus, on the other hand, has a lot of land, but a much smaller population. Both countries can benefit from mutual cooperation in agricultural production and processing. He called for the investment of Belarus in developing the skills of young people including processed agricultural products, medicines, ceramics, raw materials for paper making (paper pulp), tourism in Bangladesh. At this time, the business leaders want the cooperation of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus to facilitate the visa system for Bangladeshi businessmen and entrepreneurs.
In the meeting, Evgeny Shestakov emphasized on strengthening the commercial communication and coordination between the businessmen of Bangladesh and Belarus. He expressed interest in importing agricultural products including fruits and jute from Bangladesh. Along with that, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus also expressed his interest in working with Bangladesh to improve the skills of young people, including the formation of medical personnel.
FBCCI directors, business leaders and government officials were also present at the time.
