Eric Prydz (47 years old), whom his fans may also know under the stage names Pryda or Cirez D, is one of the most prominent personalities of the house and electronic scene in general. His mega hit „Call on Me“ catapulted him to the top of many mainstream charts in 2004 and earned his place in house music history.
His composition “piano a za track „Proper Education” received a Grammy nomination. Together with colleagues Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, they founded the creative project Swedish House Mafia, of which Prydz was a part only in the beginning. Thanks to his work, he achieved recognition even within the underground community of electronic dance music and his next composition „Opus“ to this day it is one of the most played songs not only at club but also open air events.
“Eric Prydz will perform at the festival in the Czech Republic for the first time in his career and we are thrilled that we managed to book him on the tenth anniversary of our festival. Just from the contractual terms of our cooperation, it follows that his show will be truly unforgettable! Negotiations and efforts for it have been going on for years, and finally it worked out for us,” festival director Kamil Rudolf adds enthusiastically.
His fans can enjoy the expected show of Eric Prydz, who has been to the Czech Republic in the past, but has never performed at the festival, on the main Love stage by ČSOB on Thursday, July 4. In addition to Prydz and the previously mentioned world stars, other well-known performers will also perform on the main stage of the festival.
The Italian three-member production project Meduza, which has a Grammy nomination to its credit, the king of world drum and bass Andy C and A-Trak, who was included by Rolling Stone magazine among the 50 most important names of the EDM scene, will not be missing.
The tickets disappear under the hands
The Harmony House Square scene by Evropa 2 introduces a whole range of new names that will certainly please not only fans of the house scene. Josh Butler, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Jenn Getz & Alfie or Raffa FL will perform on this stage. On the Future stage by Proud, Anden, Enamour, Estiva, Hypaton, MOS, Magnificence and Ferry Corsten, who is one of the pioneers and biggest names in trance music, will perform their show.
Techno lovers will certainly be interested in the new names on the Techno Dome by ČEZ program, such as Adriana Lopez, Border One, Klaps, Ø [Phase] or Eli Brown, who are among the hottest names of today. Drum & Bass Awards winner MC Bellyman from Great Britain will perform on the Zion stage for the first time this year. The duo D-Block & S-Te-Fan will also play their set at the festival, on the Empire stage. The popular D&B Forge stage will welcome two new performers, A Little Sound and Monty, and on the Freedom stage, visitors will enjoy a performance by DJ Badjokes. The Psy stage, which is focused not only on psytrance, but also on other genres of psychedelic and experimental music, will welcome two new performers, which will be CJ Art and Tim Haze. And on the stage called Discover more music, visitors can look forward to a show by KPD and Trimtone.

In addition, all types of tickets will also be available through the Ticketstream sales network. “We recommend all fans to buy their tickets for the festival and the associated camps as soon as possible. They are literally disappearing under our hands, both classic and VIP variants,” advises festival marketing director Matyáš Ožana. Festival Beats for Love will take place in the traditional way in Ostrava’s Dolní Vítkovice on July 3-6. 2024.
