During the telephone conversation, the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in the political, economic, energy, transport and humanitarian fields, as well as cooperation within the framework of international organizations, were discussed, and satisfaction with the level of cooperation was expressed.
It was emphasized that the high-level visits carried out last year and the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in December contributed positively to bilateral relations. The role and importance of effective cooperation in the field of energy, ensuring energy security of Europe, as well as diversification of energy supply of Azerbaijan was noted.
Later, they exchanged views on other regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest.
