Bareskrim Summons BP2MI Chairman Benny Rhamdani to Investigate Initials T, Online Gambling Controller

JAKARTA – Directorate of General Crimes (Dit Tipidum) Criminal Investigation Department The Indonesian Police are investigating a person with the initials T who is suspected of being the controller judi online . For this reason, the police will summon the Head of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani to be asked for information regarding the figure of T on Monday (29/7/2024) the day after tomorrow.

For information, Benny Rhamdani was the first to mention the figure of T as the controller of online gambling. According to him, T is a figure known to the public, and was even mentioned in a closed meeting with President Jokowi.

“Based on this, to obtain more in-depth information. Therefore, an investigation order was issued from Bareskrim in this case the Directorate of General Crimes,” said the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Saturday (27/7/2024).

“Therefore, the steps taken by the Police in this case, Bareskrim, Directorate of General Crimes will take steps to summon Benny Rhamdani (Head of BP2MI), who will be summoned for clarification of the information obtained on July 29, 2024,” he said.

Trunoyudo emphasized that his party will continue to convey developments related to the investigation of the figure T. “Of course, friends, we are sure that all the information that is available will certainly be processed more deeply related to the steps or investigation process by the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit,” he said.
