Bani Ammar honors Al-Atri, Bani Yahya and Al-Rami

The Beni Ammar Zerhoun Festival announced once again, “Silently honoring Asmaa for her splendid presence at the ‘Feste Paz’ events over the years of his career, on the way to establishing himself as one of the icons of village festivals in Morocco.”

The thirteenth session of the festival revealed the honoring of “three prominent names, each in his field of specialization,” namely “the journalist and poet Abdel Latif Benyahia, the academic and writer Abdel Rahim Al-Atari, and with them the associationist Al-Zarhouni Idris Al-Rami.” They will stand on the celebration platform during the next session from first to last. Next May 5th.

The festival continued through a statement: “The first appearance of the moments of gratitude in the program of the 13th session of the Beni Ammar Zerhoun Festival is the moment of honoring the friend of ‘Feste Paz’, the poet and journalist with a melodious voice and great professional credit, Professor Abdel Latif Benyahia, the night traveler who accompanied the listeners throughout his years of giving.” On Tangier Radio, and he is still brilliantly present today on Cap Radio. From the balcony of the heritage evening, which will begin at nine o’clock at night, a segment honoring Benyahia will appear on Friday, May 3, 2024. On the podium of testimony in honor of the honoree will be the broadcaster M’hamed Al-Bukili and the poet Mourad Al-Qadiri.

The report added: “The second mystical moment will be the hero of the sociological researcher Abdel Rahim Al-Otari. The African evening, next Saturday, May 4, will witness moments of honour, with Kasbah Beni Ammar fans meeting with one of the festival’s loyalists who were the first to support it since its first sessions. On the podium will be the witness against the star of social sciences in Morocco, the owner of “A Kinship of Salt”, Professor Abdel Rahman Bennouna.”

The third honoree, according to the same source, is “Zerhoun association activist and cultural framework Idris Al-Rami, who will be honored at the closing evening of the festival next Sunday, May 5th, for his prominent role in devoting serious collective work in Jabal Zerhoun, and for his support of the festival since its inception in 2001.” He added: “Abdel Haq Al-Omrani will bear witness against one of the loyalists of Kasbah Beni Ammar and its famous festival.”

It is noteworthy that the festival is organized by the “Iklaaa Association for Integrated Development”, between next May 1 and 5, in the Kasbah of Beni Ammar Zerhoun, with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Culture Sector, the Fez-Meknes region, the Mohammed V Theater, the Nazalat Beni Ammar Community Council, and the Animal Welfare Association. And preserving the natural environment, under the slogan “Hope… Mountain Prosperity.”
