The Bangladeshi movie ‘Mona: Jinn-2’ has been released in Pakistani theaters across the borders of the country. The movie was released in 24 theaters in different provinces of Pakistan including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad. According to Jaz Multimedia, the production company of ‘Mona: Jinn-2’, 82 shows will be shown daily in 24 theaters of Pakistan including multiplexes.
Regarding the release of the movie in Pakistan, producer Abdul Aziz said, “My producer partner of the movie ‘Mr Nine’ lives in the United States. He is the one who assisted in the screening of the movie in Pakistan. The screening of the movie in English subtitles has started from yesterday Friday.

The producer hopes that Pakistani audience will watch the movie. He said, ‘The story of the movie is such that the audience there will like it. I sent the movie there for censor before last Eid. I heard from people through whom I sent the movie there that the members of the Pakistan Censor Board also liked the movie. That’s why it seems that the movie can become a favorite of the Pakistani audience.’ Producer Abdul Aziz commented that the film’s budget could come from Pakistani theatres.
The producer of this movie is very happy to get the opportunity to release the movie in Pakistan. He said, ‘Now our movies are being released in Europe, USA, Middle East. There can be a market for our movies in Pakistan too. Because Bengali cinema will not be able to move forward if it does not catch the global market.’ The producer said that there is a desire to release the movie ‘Mr Nine’ in Pakistan next Eid-ul-Azha.
The movie ‘Mona: Jinn-2’ is directed by Kamruzzaman Roman. Suprabhat played the title role in it. Tariq Anam Khan, Ahmed Rubel, Deepa Khandkar, Ariana Zaman, Sehzad Omar, Sajjad Hossain, Samina Bashar and others also acted.
