Banco Angolano de Investimento (BAI), was distinguished as the “Best Digital Commercial Bank” in 2018 in Angola, by Global Finance, a prominent international publication of information on financial markets, whose premios vãof the 19ª edihereo.
The criteria used by the jury, made up of the editors of Global Finance and Infosys, a leading consultancy and technology company, to evaluate candidates for the awards, are the continuous effort in the strategy of attracting and making a variety of digital services available to its clients, evidence of the benefits of these services and their functionality.
BAI makes 50 to 70% of its products and services available on digital platforms, including BAI Directo, the multichannel that guarantees greater convenience, speed and security in the various operations to be carried out, such as checking balances, transfers, payments for services , financial applications, opening an online bank account and others, enabling its customers to manage their financial lives autonomously in one click.
Among the most transformative services, the entry into operation, in January this year, of the automatic deposit machine stands out, a solution created to make life easier for small and medium-sized companies, automating everyday tasks. The bank also invested in mobile phone payments with E-Kwanza BAI, a solution that allows you to send and receive money and make payments for goods and services.
