Changes will be made in the work regime of Baku Metropolitan JSC during the upcoming Ramadan holiday.
Publika.az informs about this with reference to the joint stock company.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the dates of April 6 and 12 have been changed. For this reason, even though tomorrow is Saturday, it will be considered a working day, and the Baku metro will accordingly operate according to the schedule of normal working days. On that day, the hours between 7:00-10:00 and 17:30-19:30 will be considered as rush hours, and the movement of trains in the “Hezi Aslanov-28 May” area will be regulated with an interval of 2 minutes.
Taking into account the satisfaction of the passengers and the comfortable movement of the metro users, the activities of the staff will be ensured on the basis of the duty schedule on holidays. The infrastructure of all stations, including the activity of engineering and technical facilities, will be kept under control.
On April 10-11, from 07:00 to 21:00, the interval between trains on the “Hezi Aslanov-28 May” area will be 2.5 minutes. On April 12-14, the interval in that area will be 3 minutes.
From the “28 May” station, where the Green and Red lines intersect, the interval of trains in the “Icherisheher” and “Darnagul” directions will be twice as long.
However, keeping in mind the directions of passenger flow, spare trains will be kept ready and put on the line if necessary.
Passengers moving in the direction of “Bakmil” can use the schedules of working days on April 6, Saturday on April 10-11, and Sunday on April 12-14.
