Bangladesh Agricultural University (Bakribi) has been appointed as the new treasurer of the Department of Agricultural Economics. Md. Saidur Rahman.
On Wednesday (March 13), University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury ordered Dr. as the new treasurer of the university in a circular. Md. Saidur Rahman was appointed.
He is the acting treasurer. Succeeded Aliullah. The handover of responsibility was held at 4 pm in the meeting room of the treasurer’s building. University student affairs advisor, proctor, faculty and staff of various faculties were present on the occasion. He will officially take charge from March 14.
Dr. Saidur Rahman joined the Department of Agricultural Economics as a lecturer in 2000. Later he served as Head of Department of Agricultural Economics. He also served as the vice-president in the 2022-24 committee of Bangladesh Agricultural Economics Association. Currently, he is serving as the Vice President of the Teachers Association.
Professor Dr. Md. Saidur Rahman served as the Director of the Institute of Agri Business and Development Studies (IADS).
