Hyderabad/Pune: Bajaj Group today announced Rs. Rs 5,000 crore for social impact initiatives over 5 years, with a special focus on skill development, under the group’s new identity ‘Bajaj Beyond’ for all its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and charitable programs. This will benefit over 2 crore youth of tomorrow and enable them to take advantage of the employment and entrepreneurship opportunities offered by India’s growing economy.
Major CSR Initiatives of Bajaj Group:
• The Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) programme, launched in 2023, aims to enhance the skills of engineering and diploma graduates in the latest technologies related to Industry 4.0. The program has successfully inaugurated its flagship center in Pune, with an enrollment of 120 students. It is now planning to set up 15 centers across India.
• Bajaj Finserv Limited’s Certificate Program in Banking, Finance and Insurance (CPBFI) works to bridge the skill gap by linking industry with education, enabling young first generation students from Tier 2 and 3 cities to gain exposure to employment opportunities in the financial sector. • Hamara Sapna, an initiative of Jamnalal Bajaj Trust launched in 2012, strives to transform the lives of marginalized women living in the slums of Mumbai through education and entrepreneurship. Regular development activities include communication, computer skills, legal and social knowledge, finance management, personality development, health, hygiene and yoga.
