Bad weather / “River” Poseidon Avenue – Major traffic problems (video)

Serious problems are observed in the traffic of vehicles on Poseidonos Avenue, at the height of Kalamaki Avenue, in the traffic flow towards Piraeus due to the accumulation of water from the bad weather.

The road has turned into a lake, with vehicles and buses moving in a single lane and at very low speeds.

The traffic at the point is particularly high, with the queue of cars starting from Glyfada.

Traffic jams prevail on the rise of Kifisos Avenue from Moschato to Nea Filadelfia and on the descent from Kifisia to Nea Filadelfia, while vehicles move at low speeds on Vouliagmenis, Mesogeion and Kifisias Avenues.

The image is similar on Syngrou Avenue from the height of Kalliroi and on Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue from Zappeion.

Delays are also noted on the Attiki Odos on the way to Elefsina: Over 30′ from Anthousa to Metamorfosi (exit for Lamia) and 20′-25′ approx. Hymettou from Placentia to Metamorfosi.
