The research carried out by the Center for Humanitarian Technologies within the framework of the development of the report “Society Development Index 2023” is aimed at determining approaches to the development of citizens in the post-Soviet space.
According to the results of the research, Azerbaijan was ranked second in the ranking of the center.
It was stated that Azerbaijan is one of the rare countries among the CIS countries that is able to preserve historical heritage and use it as a strategy for the development of society. In 2023, this country rose to 57th place in Brand Finance’s Global Soft Power index, making a significant improvement compared to the previous year.
The report emphasized that the use of “soft power” tools is often associated with the use of humanitarian technologies. These technologies are aimed at the development of society, help to reveal the potential of individuals, eliminate thought stereotypes and improve the quality of the country’s human capital.
The report noted that Azerbaijan actively uses “soft power” and humanitarian technologies, which help to strengthen the quality of human capital in the country.
The authors point to the “Show me Azerbaijan” project as an example of the use of “soft power” in Azerbaijan. The report shows the Heydar Aliyev Center as an example of successful implementation of this approach. It was noted that this center won the title of the best building in the world in 2014.
