Azerbaijan continues political discussions, they have created the largest support group in the UN.

Publika.az reports, this was said by Aleksandr Zuyev, the UN Secretary General’s deputy for peacekeeping operations for the rule of law and security, during his speech at the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum.

“Today, geo-social changes are taking place all over the world, which imposes serious obligations on us. Personally, I think we are at a crossroads where we need multilateral mechanisms. This is important for peace calls. Geopolitical changes are a process that leads to more turmoil than peace. We strive to increase public trust for the sake of multilateralism. It is not only about the UN. All organizations continue their activities in this direction,” he said.

He noted that such forums are important in terms of bringing religious and political leaders together. “Currently, there are 6 Nobel laureates at the table. This means a lot of trust. This year is a special year for the UN. We have taken on a great responsibility. Our project called “Future Summit” will be presented in September. This will be the first time in our 80-year history that we will discuss future threats and other priority issues.”
