Moroccan champion Aya Al -Nusairi won the bronze medal in the “Al -Kata” class, within the nineteenth round of the Mohammed VI International Cup for Karaati, outperforming the points on the American Cocomai Sakura.
Al -Nusairi said, in a press statement after winning the bronze medal: “I worked a lot to achieve this goal, especially before the 2025 World Championship in Cairo,” adding that the intensive preparations before this tournament, accompanied by members of the national team, gave their food.
The Moroccan champion highlighted that the nineteenth round of the Mohamed VI International Cup for Karati is an important station in order to prepare for the world championship, considering that today’s achievement will be an incentive to achieve more medals in the future.
Regarding the competition with the American Sakura, the same author confirmed that she was not easy and required a lot of effort to excel and get the bronze medal, and that the rise to the podium gives a strong charge to more medals.
This session, which is organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Karati and common methods, under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, and under the supervision of the International Karati Federation, is witnessing an unprecedented participation of athletes, coaches, rulers, technical teams and official committees from more than 80 countries from different continents.
Morocco in this session, as well as Ayat Al -Nusairi (Al -Kata Anza), represents Nisreen Brock in the category of Al -Koumi, a weight of less than 68 kilograms, Abdel -Ali Jenna (male Al -Koumi, a weight of less than 60 kilograms), Mahdi Sariti (male Al -Koumi, weight less than 84 kg), and Saeed Obia (male Al -Koumi, a weight of less than 67 kg).
