Study highlights the history of the chambers and their members
Vienna (OTS) – By taking a well-founded and first-time look at the civil engineers’ past, their own mistakes should also be dealt with. On the one hand, the presented study focuses on the reconstruction of the organizational history, which began with the laying of the foundation stone by Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1860. On the other hand, the focus is on coming to terms with the chamber’s role in the Nazi regime and the fate of those civil engineers who were persecuted and fell victim to the regime.
