Authorities provide security to national and foreign tourists

Parks, squares, mountains, lakes and beaches have become areas where members of the Armed Forces are providing security and assistance to national and foreign tourists enjoying the Easter holidays.

“Visitors to tourist centers, rivers, lakes and our Salvadoran coast enjoy healthy recreation in safety, thanks to the permanent patrols carried out by military elements,” published the military institution.

The military personnel who have been deployed in places such as the Apulo recreational park, in Ilopango; the El Pital hill, in Chalatenango; and beaches such as Cuco, La Flores, in San Miguel, and San Diego and Zonte, in La Libertad; They also help the Traffic Police in vehicle controls installed in the east of the country.

“Our soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Brigade, working jointly with the Police, carry out the actions of the Territorial Control Plan, carrying out preventive patrols and vehicle control points in the east of the country,” highlighted the Armed Forces.

The military also provides security to Salvadorans who travel to the interior of the country on public transportation units.

“In the terminals and boarding points of public transport, we provide security to the people who use these units, guaranteeing tranquility and confidence in their journeys,” indicated the military institution.

The Armed Forces also maintain a presence in all parks and public squares throughout the country so that Salvadorans can enjoy their vacation season.
