Due to the work being carried out by the municipality, vehicle traffic will be partially or totally interrupted in different parts of the capital for the rest of the day. The focus of the work will be on Villa Luján today, so drivers are advised to take alternative routes to avoid setbacks.
The municipal Public Works Department reported via X the complete list of works being carried out, mainly in the improvement of the asphalt surface in different areas of the city.
The completion of the work and the full reopening of traffic could take, in the case of partial closures, the rest of the day, while total closures would extend for several days, although the time frame was not announced by the department.

The change of direction of Crisóstomo and San Lorenzo streets is progressing slowly and surely
Although the Municipality announced that the implementation of the new phase of the Comprehensive Urban Mobility Plan (PIMU) is imminent, the changes that are required and that are not yet being made will take a long time.
Municipal officials do not dare to give an exact date for when San Lorenzo will begin to flow from west to east and Crisóstomo Alvarez, the other way around. With this, both roads will recover their original direction: in 1988 and with the objective of decompressing traffic -as now-, the decision was made to change their direction, a measure that will now be reversed.
