Atakum Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate Greenhouse Area attracts attention with its different types of trees as well as various vegetables and fruits grown by the municipal teams.

Open plant cultivation is carried out in 450 square meters of the facility, which is located in an area of ​​​​approximately 3 thousand 700 square meters in Alanlı District. In the greenhouse area where there are 48 different types of trees, there are 70 different types of shrubs, 40 of which are Atakum Municipality’s own production. 40 different types of trees and 7 different types of indoor balcony flowers are also grown in the greenhouse. With the work carried out by the teams of the Municipality’s Parks and Gardens Directorate, the production capacity of the greenhouse is increasing day by day.

Atakum Mayor Serhat Türkel stated that the works will revitalize the vegetable and fruit cultivation in the city and said, “The technical team of our municipality is working hard for greenhouse activities in our facility. In addition to various vegetables and fruits, many different types of trees and plants are grown in our greenhouse.
