The tie decided the victory between Manchester City and its guest Liverpool (1-1), in the match hosted by the Etihad Stadium today, Saturday, in the matches of the 13th round of the English Premier League.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring for City in the 27th minute, before Trent Alexander-Arnold equalized the score for Liverpool in the 80th minute.

With this result, City maintained its top spot in the standings, raising its score to 29 points, and Liverpool also raised its score to 28 points, in second place.

City presented the first threat in the match, in the 11th minute, with a mistake by Alisson in passing the ball, so Foden grabbed it and shot a ground ball that was caught by the Brazilian.

The response came from Liverpool in the 16th minute, with Nunez following up on a cross from Salah, hitting a header that Ederson excelled in stopping.

City opened the scoring in the 27th minute, after Ake tampered with Soboslai and Arnold, after receiving a new wrong ball from Alisson, before passing the ball to Haaland, who hit the net.

In a quick counterattack, in the 42nd minute, Doku launched from deep and passed the ball to Alvarez on the right side of the penalty area, and he shot a ball that went wide of the goal.

Foden followed with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area in the 44th minute, and Alisson excelled in deflecting it into a corner kick.

Liverpool succeeded in equalizing the score, in the 80th minute, with a powerful low shot from Arnold.

In the eighth minute of stoppage time, Haaland met a cross from a corner, shooting a header that passed just past the post, ending the match in a draw (1-1).
