At 209.7 million euros, the budget of the municipality of Ioannito

The budget of the Municipality of Ioannito for 2024 amounts to 209.7 million euros, which was approved by the Municipal Committee during its meeting today.

The next steps are to send it to the Observatory and then submit it to the Municipal Council for approval.

The proposal was made by the Deputy Mayor of Finance, Georgia Giotis, who emphasized that the budget has recorded all the expenses and revenues of the Municipality as well as of legal entities and the public benefit enterprise, which were abolished after the provisions of articles 27 and 29 of the law. 5056/2023 (A’ 163) and concern the specific financial year.

She added that during the preparation of the budget, the results of the execution of the budgets of the two previous years 2022 and 2023 were taken into account, that it is balanced and realistically reflects the estimates of revenues and expenses of the Municipality in the new year, always adjusted to the existing strict fiscal framework.

Finally, he noted that the delay in his pension is mainly due to the fact that the reimbursement fees had not been voted by the previous municipal council, the technical program that had been voted needed to be supplemented and of course due to the integration of legal entities and the non-profit enterprise in the municipality, the which created new data in the services.

Finally, in the proposed budget for the year 2024, own revenues of group B.1 amounting to €24,192,761.82 have been entered, which includes the total revenues (amounting to €2,065,595.00) of institutions without legal personality and in group B. 2 the amount of €750,000.00 is entered in the receivable balances of past years.
