The body of Shishu Sagar, who was begging from door to door by pushing a wheel chair through ‘grandfather’s foot’, has been recovered. After missing for five long days, his body was recovered from a pond in Masterpara of Feni city on Monday (June 17) Eid afternoon.

It is known that Sirajul Haque is a well-known beggar of Feni city. The disabled grandson Sagar was often seen chained to his wheel chair and begging. He was chained so that he could not leave his foster grandfather and run away. After untying the chain, the sea disappeared. It is initially known that the recovered body belongs to the sea.

A card was hung around the child’s neck while begging with his grandfather. Name: Sagar Chowdhury, Mother: Amena Bibi, Father: Golap Chowdhury, Multiple Disability, Date of Birth: 2 January 2017, West Ukilpara, Feni. And foster grandfather’s name is Sirajul Haque.

The 70-year-old Sirajul Haque said then, Sagar is an orphan. There are no parents. I nurtured him and brought him up. He can’t speak. If he is lost, where will I find him? That’s why we keep it in chains.

He lived with Sagar in the Daudpur Bridge area of ​​Feni city.

Sirajul Haque said that he (Sagar) escaped after unchaining him last Wednesday. I couldn’t find him because I couldn’t walk. I thought he would come back, so I did not complain to the police. But he returned as a corpse.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station. Shahidul Islam Chowdhury confirmed the news of the recovery of a child’s body and said that the real cause of death will be known after the autopsy.
